Even though the quality in which motorbikes are nowadays constructed has reached an extremely high level, the exact measurement of suspension systems still remains important. This is especially true for motorcycles that are used on the racetrack.
If the suspension basis does not work even the best suspension components cannot provide flawless performance.
Unfortunately there are also those cases, for example when a motorbike is severely damaged after a fall, when surveying will deliver exact damage analysis. At Wilbers we are equipped with up-to-date measuring technology such as:
• Computer-controlled-photogram survey of suspension systems with most modern infra-red tools
• Conforming/straightening and adjusting on most modern dressing-benches and test-rigs
The graphic shows you the result of a survey process. You can plainly see the deviationbetween desired- (in grey) and actual (in red) value. It is obvious that the different steering-head angle will negatively affect the suspension systems geometry and with that the motorcycles driving
behaviour.
