Dafne & Rob de Jong in Siberia

One might imagine motorcycling in the snow, but on snow and ice at minus 40° centigrade in Siberia? There are people we don't have to understand but admire for their readiness for adventure. We might even use their spirit of adventure to further develop our suspension systems. This trip to Siberia was a tremendous strain for the de Jongs and their equipment and its result was a perfect test of our suspension elements.
At minus 40 ° centigrade a normal piston rod can get so brittle that it breaks at the first direct jolt. Normally fluids, such as oil, will become so thick that a movement of the shock absorber is impossible. But, with a Wilbers shock absorber, nothing is impossible so that Dafne and Rob returned home without any harm and you, as our customers, can again profit from one of our long-term tests.
