Suspension system for the Donkervoort S8

What other vehicles besides the DAF do the Dutchmen produce? Correct: The Donkervoort! This open fun-vehicle which was sold all over the world can now be upgraded with high quality “Wilbers Racing Suspension” suspension elements. The task came from a customer from Switzerland to design for his Donkervoort a suspension with multiplex adjustability.

Opposite to the OEM suspension we stroke out in a completely new direction taking into consideration our experiences from our motorcycle activities. Therewith a completely new riding feeling was created for the Donkervoort which can be changed from comfortable on leisure-tours to extra-tight on the racetrack. The compression damping in low- and high-speed is divided and tuneable by 22 clicks each, the rebound also is tuneable in 22 steps while the preload can be changed continuously variable over a hose connected handwheel.
